That Winning Feeling

It's a long time since Yeovil fans and players have experienced that winning feeling at home so the delight was understandable when new loan signing Alex Dobre (on his knees behind no. 10 Jake Grey as the other players rush to join the celebrations) scored the second and winning goal deep into added time on his home debut today against bottom of the table Notts County.

It was a strange old game: we scored inthe 8th minute then defended resolutely for the next 70 minutes until two late substitutions saw the players we were hoping would start the game come on, after which we looked a far more dangerous and exciting proposition. We could have scored twice before Dobre's late clincher. That's two wins and clean sheets in consecutive games. Suspect the run might come to a juddering halt at home to league leaders Lincoln on Tuesday night.

The rest of the day was spent with Sophie. Kate joined us this afternoon for another sleepover tonight.
