Ornamental cats

Today I hosted my reading group's annual Xmas gathering. It necessitated a couple of days preparing the room - clearing, cleaning, tidying, arranging, warming and so on.

In the process Fred found some fellow felines to pose beside for a few seconds.

The yellow cat is French, the style originated by Emile Galle in the 1890s but taken over now by the Wemyss pottery in Scotland. The large white cat is Chinese, the small one apparently Manx, the floral cat Italian, and Fred part Siamese.
