Our Amigos

Special to have our group of amigos for lunch today, not easy to arrange it now that R has a job. Poor Padre suffering with fever, think he gets run down sometimes, though we've never heard him say he's tired or too busy. He celebrated four Eucharists since last night, plus a funeral, all while ill, but as he said, who else is there to do it? Heavy run up to Mourão's main festival now, on the 2nd February.

As usual, I forgot to take a photo till we were on to coffee. I did gnocchi with prawns for starters, roast duck and vegetables, and a sort of red fruit trifle for dessert.

When we'd cleared up, Mike and I went for a walk and were amazed at the moon, so huge and bright, in extras. Must find out how to not get a secondary one...
