No, this fellow was never called Yorick but somehow that phrase came to mind...
This is one of those blips of record, of objects that you'd like to keep for sentimental reasons but whose function wore out several years ago and it's time to put an end its travelling between shelves and cupboards.
It was a gift from a good friend many years ago, with reference to the time, many years before, when he served octopus to the assembled student household (back in days or yore, when student households cooked for each other with the corresponding x5 saving in time).
