Taking it sloe

Had a fab nights sleep. Never heard pete wake up or cry, he must've been whacked from all the excitement of Thursday. It's lovely to go downstairs in a morning and for him to be there, ready to greet you.

Out with him for a small walk before 9am and back to await mrs silvers arrival. She loved him and he loved her, he fell asleep on her!

After she'd left, I made a few more jars of Christmas chutney, as pete slept soundly.

After lunch we made our first visit to mums house where pete met giant ted (or his great uncle ted, as I called him!) was very funny, giant Labrador scared of the tiny pup, bless em!

Back home after another little walk and settled down in front of a lovely fire.

Had a curry for tea and did a bit more online chrimbo shopping!

Bottled up my sloe gin. Not a massive crop like last years, but still tasting wonderful! Had a tiny bit left over which I just had to sample!

Another fab day, have loved my week off at home with pete.
