Back to the park

After an indulgent breakfast at the local garden centre cafe, I walked home via the park. There are many trails but I did the shorter green route before walking home through the town and along the railway path.

After that we dropped our son at the station to return to Manchester before heading to East Linton to visit Smeaton gallery.

Lovely scone in the tea room and a chance to catch up with a local artist who works with textiles and has agreed to take on an old wing chair of my mother in laws. We await her designs.

Home for homemade stovies and a lovely long hot bath.
