Just standing around

Visited our local fishmonger in Musselburgh this morning and went for a quick walk around the harbour where I spotted these hills just hanging around. Only a couple of fishing boats in and couldn’t get a good enough angle to take a pic so settledfor the hills. I liked the rowers in the middle distance and beyond that one of the islands in the firth - I want to say Inchcolm but might be wrong.

Went for a quick four mile walk after picking up some shopping and arrived home in time to see my son who is up overnight.

In the afternoon we made it to the kiltmakers to have son measured for the kilt promised for his 21st (only 3 years late!). Good news is that it will only take 4-6 weeks and as we were buying a complete outfit, they gave us a more than 50% discount on the walking stick my other half spotted in the corner.

Just had home cooked fish and chips and now chilling with a glass of white wine.

All in all a pretty good day - even if the weather was damp and dreich!
