Life in the Gutter...

...can be great if you're a Labrador!

We managed walk to the creek between squalls
There are ferns growing  over the edge of the bridge
And moss taking over the walls.

I'm sitting on the couch and knitting a lot
Feeling like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's
And baking more cookies while the oven is hot.

OilMan is multitasking 
Football, puzzles and computer games occupy him
And he changed a lightbulb without my asking

There is nothing more that I can say
About this endless wet weather
except please go away.
