Chillies and children

On our day trip to one of the temples outside Battambang (Cambodia's 2nd biggest city but probably no bigger than Cambridge), we stopped on the side of the road to buy some dried chillies. After ascertaining I wanted just half a kilo (actually way more than I want or need but felt bad buying less), these woman launched straight into whether I had children and when they learnt I did not, I had to endure 15 minutes of being told I must have children as soon as possible. When they heard how old I am (32) they almost buried me right there and then. Then they changed their mind and offered me some of theirs instead!!

Needless to say, Berry was happy to hide behind the camera.
