Ipad therapy

Finally we have made it back up to Sheffield to spend some time with Rafi and his family.

Jackie has been out and bought an Ipad so that it might help stimulate Rafi when he is awake.   Pete is giving Jackie some ideas of funny Youtube clips that he thinks Raf would find funny.   When Rafi did wake up and was hoisted in to his chair we did show him some funny clips and he was definitely trying to focus on the screen.   The poor lad has now developed a bad cough so it is very distressing for him and for everyone else seeing him suffering.    I must say that even though he does have this added problem with his chest, both Pete and I can see much improvement since we saw him in intensive care a few weeks ago.  

It is lovely to see his eyes open.   He is able to blink  his eyelids in response to questions but it does wear him out.

No prizes for guessing which football team Rafi supports!

I must also wish my lovely, blipping nephew a Very Happy Birthday for today! xx
