Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Today, I discovered that it’s completely redundant to put 2 spaces after a full stop which came as a COMPLETE surprise to me. I had no idea the rules had changed. This practice is even described as being from a bygone era and “nothing says over 40 like two spaces after a period.”

So now, it’s not enough to use emojis and to have heard of shops like Hollister and bands like Cage the Elephant, I am going to have to single space or I won’t be down with the cool kids.

Crisis averted!
