clever people!

We went to watch our niece doing clever things with horses today. She isn't quite this good yet though, these are the big ones! It was absolutely freezing there - we've had even more snow today. We had to shovel our way out of the driveway this morning.

It's incredibly hard to get a good photo of people jumping around on a galloping horse in a place that has bad lighting. So, dear Santa, I have on my list: some good external flashes (yes, more than one please) that don't scare horses, a really good lens or two that are better in such dull light than the ones that came free with my camera and...ah, no, that'll do to keep me happy for a while ;-)
