It's A Hard New Life

Meet William Hastie. He is Hastie by name and Hastie by nature.

I suggested he should be renamed Prize for if he is ever knighted he would be known as Sir Prize, because that is what he was. He wasn't due until the new year, but he seemed rather keen to celebrate Xmas 2012 and arrived eight weeks early!

We got to meet our newest nephew this afternoon. He's a cutie, and I must confess every time he yawned a little bit of me melted.

The irony is we were coming February to meet after he was due, but this was a Brucie bonus!

Despite being premature he has come on leaps and bounds, and both mother and baby are doing well as they say ... A proper Christmas gift!
