Or maybe not moo as this isn't a cow it's an Aurochs.

It's one of the figures that forms the Watermead Park Portrait Bench, which was put in as part of the Connect2 project a few years ago. Now I've moved house I can cycle to Leicester through Watermead Park and from Cossington it's traffic free all the way and fabulous. 

In other exciting news this route has just got even better as a new link has opened to extend it along the River Soar with a new underpass/bridge under the Loughborough Road. It's the first time I've ridden it and I can now ride from Cossington to Abbey Park without touching a road.

Top work Leicester City Council and, I think, the EA but don't quote me on that, I might not be correct but I think they had a hand in it too?
