Out with the Old in with the New

My eyes nearly popped out when I saw daddy lizard this morning (the big one of the family)....he had just grown a blue/green head......jeepers.

On closer inspection (Flynn’s) we saw that he was shedding his orange brown skin for something oh so much more wonderful and jewel like......Will nature never cease to amaze?
I hope one day to capture him with my camera in the whole of his new suit.
Feeling a bit miserable and melting in the relentless heat........the forecast is always saying that it is low 30’s when at our place it gets quite a bit higher than that. Everything is crispy...it looked like we might of got a bit of rain but the clouds floated merrily away to somewhere else.
