Progress......

I had to walk past the roadworks this morning and there has been amazing progress. The huge hole has been filled in, the road re-tarmaced and the block paving was being relaid.  I stopped to talk to the workman as I passed and told him what a great job they had done and so quickly too. 
This is the other side of the road to the one I shared the other day. I got a wave from the team!

Thank you everyone who has sent congratulations yesterday. The new family left the hospital for home this morning.  Esmee was swamped by her outdoor suit but looked very comfortable in her car seat, carried proudly between her parents. We've heard it's been a good first day at home too.
