Today we went to Dublin. Mrs Joesblips had a few things to there and we also wanted to visit an exhibition of paintings by two well known Irish artists. A great show it was too. As we walked to the gallery from the railway station though I spotted in the Istituto Cervantes a really interesting of Chilean "Arpilleras"depicting scenes from Chile and with particular reference to the oppression of the Pinochet years. Arpilleras is a technique consisting of scraps of material hand sewn and appliqued onto burlap. Brilliant stuff too.
During our rambles we stopped briefly to listen to a band playing old Rolling Stones songs. This guy didn't mind at all the fact that I was spying him down the barrel of a telephoto lens.
