2019 Sunday — Celebration Dinner

We’re celebrating yesterday’s announcement that our granddaughter Ashly & Robert are having a baby boy. The due date is June 14.

We wanted to celebrate last night, but this is the weekend of the “Annual Bird Festival” in Morro Bay, so the restaurant had no available dinner reservations until 8:00 and that’s much later than we like to eat. So we waited a day for our celebration. We‘ve dined here at Windows on the Water a couple of times previously, so we knew this was definitely worth the wait.

The meal was delicious and the view of the bay from our window seat was lovely even with a light rain falling (candles in the restaurant were reflecting on the window glass).

So another great-grandson is in our near future. Our other granddaughter, Desiree, is just two weeks from having our third great-grandchild, a girl. Her name is Emillia Leigh (pronounced a-meal-ya and her daddy’s middle name is Lee).
