WHACKO....

.... it is rare to see the Kingfishers around here!
Another stinker of a hot day it was already 35 degC at 11am, so went via the dam on the way to the shop.

Absolutely nothing doing which I expected in the hot sun, then out of this bush a Sacred Kingfisher roared out at a thousand miles per hour (as they do) and parked in the sun on the branches above.

For me, any shot of these wonders is a good shot! Sadly with the sun glare it is not the best, but it is my Blip today. of course only stayed a second or three, and took off across the dam. For another day!!!
