Sneak Peek

By this time next week, I hope that Phil and I will have had a chance to use our beautiful new walk-in shower, a glimpse of which you see here. He's painting the walls and ceiling this weekend, and the plumber will come next week to attach the fixtures.

Also on the schedule this week is the installation of bamboo flooring in our bedroom, once the bathroom is all finished. And then -- we'll be doing lots of deep cleaning to get rid of the dust!

At some point in all this Phil will also paint the walls of the "sinks room" of our bathroom (our bathroom is actually two separate rooms: the new shower and existing toilet in one room, and two sinks -- UK wash hand basins-- with a shared counter and storage, in the other).

With the flooring down in the bedroom -- and out of our living/dining room, where it's been stacked -- our dining table and chairs can return from their time in the garage, and our house will look like a home again.
