Fence Post and Nail
This morning it was -17F and very nice soft light . Unfortunately I had to be somewhere and by the time I went out it was very flat. At least the temp got up to +12F by then.
So I decided to stick to the woodland where the light was a bit better and got interested in this old fence post with a nail stuck in it. Why was the nail there, who decided to half bang it in, what did it hold up? From the state of the post, it was a long time ago. It's all linked to the history of the place.
And why do we like rust?
I think I went overboard with the sharpening, but it is what it is now.
