Berkhamstead Common - South Loop

I suggested we go for a walk today and found a route that was 8 miles starting and ending at Berkhamstead train station.  The walk was great and incredibly peaceful in places.  The route takes you up to Ashridge Estate and then back round through forests to the Grand Union Canal.  It took us about 4 hours or so to get around so I guess we were going about 2 miles an hour.

The weather was a bit Bleugh so the pictures aren't the greatest.

I am so tired now this evening though!
