Dodging showers (Day 1362)

The strong, northerly wind was bitterly cold as I wandered up the hill with the woofers this morning. It wasn't a day for hanging around admiring the view.
After warming up at home,  my beautiful wife and I zoomed into town for a trip around Tescos, returning home to sort out the kitchen and have a bit of a tidy up before lunch.
After lunch, we got our waterproof gear on and took the dogs across to Stromness for a walk. The wind had eased off a little and the rain held off while we were out wandering, but battered on the roof of the shed as we dealt with the horses.
The rest of the afternoon has been spent sorting a few things out and moving stuff around in preparation for starting the decoration of what will become our dining room, eventually.
