Blowing a gale

Slept Ok, but woke a few times......went to bed with a tickly throat.....that has developed into a cold over the course of today :-/ Dont feel too bad so far ........

We had to go out to the farm for eggs this morning. It was sooooo windy....we were wrapped up against the elements. I didnt take my camera in case it rained, so grabbed this shot with my phone for todays blip. I was hoping to capture the movement of the grass, but it doesnt really show it very well.

We were almost blown home! It was cold too, so the cooked brunch was more than welcome! Bacon, sausage, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast ;-) followed by a cup of coffee and a read of the papers.

I spent a couple of hours on the computer this afternoon looking through images to choose 3 that I will put forward for inclusion in our Camera Clubs book of 2018. I also started to pull together 100+ images for a talk I am giving in a few weeks all about Tenerife....at least Ive made a start!

I made cauliflower cheese, to go with pan seared salmon, griddled courgettes and kale for me, hub had parmentier potatoes with his as well.

Watched the latest episode of Les Miserables this evening, really enjoying it......and am now dosed up with old and flu remedies, so hopefully will get a decent nights sleep, fingers crossed!
