A glass shelter

I bought this little terrarium at our village Christmas fair, knowing that it came from the house of an elderly friend who died in the autumn. It still had a label on and had not been used. I am hoping to find a tiny fern to put in it but this tiny succulent occupies it until then.
I like the pentagon shapes around the lower part.
A friend and I went to the Village Hall AGM this evening! The committee have been struggling to keep up their numbers but now several people have volunteered to join them, including representatives of most of the village organisations.
So perhaps 2019 will be a good year for our village hall!
