Book Bot

This is a university library like no other, located at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. Pictured is just one of many aisles containing (now) 1.5 million books. Using a touch screen, one selects a book. The robot moves to the correct location, secures the book and delivers it to a desk, and done in just a few minutes.

The state-of-the-art library is 5 stories high with every high tech and green feature imaginable. Google it - the Hunt Library at NCSU.
