Unusual tributes

When John Dalton was born in 1766, little did his parents know that he'd research colour blindness and introduce atomic theory into chemistry. Best of all though, Manchester saw fit to name after him not a square nor a grand boulevard, but an entry. Otherwise known locally as a ginnel. At one end is a private postbox, with science themed wrought iron along the remainder of the run. I got some very strange looks taking pictures. My battle to get a pass for the building I work on continues. I'll have retired by the time I hear at this rate. I may make a trip to a related street called Boardman's entry for a piçcie of the umbrellas.
