Christurch

Very early start, lots of hanging around and numerous yawns followed by short and pleasant flight over the Tasman Sea.
Christchurch is far smaller and quieter than I expected and still has a lot of earthquake damage. They seem to have a system similar to Boris Bikes but for scooters, the kiddy type not Vespas. Seen lots in use and as many abandoned.
The blip is of a sculpture outside an institute dedicated to helping those with problems, such as dyslexia
In the same place There is also a sculpture of a young girl reading a book. The statue itself is beautiful but from the book comes a stream of words that weave their way through the garden at the front of the building. I tried to photograph it but could not do it justice
