Stv Jarl Interview

It snowed overnight, and been snowing throughout the day.  There has been some lovely sunny spells, and really calm all day.  Clear skies tonight, and freezing.

Madness driving to work this morning, cars stuck in the snow, and took me an hour to get to Lerwick, usually takes 10 minutes!  I've been working on the museum desk all day, and been really busy with Up Helly Aa, and school bairns too.  I headed back into town this evening to watch the procession, but no good photos.  Working in the pub tonight.

Lerwick Up Helly Aa has arrived, and a buzz around the town.  The Jarl Squad arrived with us just before 4pm, sang their songs and entertained the visitors.  Later there was a torch lit interview with Stv and on the telly this evening.  The procession this evening, and the party will continue until atleast 8am, maybe longer for others.  Here's Guizer Jarl John Nicolson and his squad, and Stv reporter Laura Boyd.  Taken outside the Shetland Museum, Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
