Tuesday: Pre-Reception Baguettes

The day started with an early meeting downtown at 0730 - my Ottawa Big Boss was speaking at a Brexit breakfast. Needless to say by early afternoon, everything had changed again.

A day of meetings culminated in our annual contacts reception. I hosted about 130 people - we had a great turnout. The downside at these events is that I never get to eat anything - so I will just have to content myself with this picture of a pre-dinner baguette. It went well, though, and my colleague, who sorted out the whole evening found us an amazing space.
