Black Isle nature watch

This wonderful young Roe deer Buck almost made it’s way into the garden today. His Mum was keeping a careful eye on him and eventually they ran off across the field together.
A buzzard flew overhead chased by two angry crows.
A lower of snow showed up even the tiniest of footsteps. The smallest were those of , probably, a wood mouse. I could follow where tgecpine marten had been, seen where a bird had taken flight leaving imprints of his wings.
Long tailed tits gathered at the fat balls chattering away to themselves.
A stunning sunrise, sunny but very cold ! A clear night so temperatures dropping rapidly !
