Standstill.....

....on the A12 and and the beginning of M11 this afternoon, caused by accidents and pile ups. Cars for miles behind and ahead.  So it took us nearly 4 hours to travel to Sawston. When we got to the turn-off we usually use, that was closed due to a car on fire. We'd seen the smoke and had a feeling that was the cause. 

A very happy evening though and  Andrea's parents joined us and we drank a Champagne toast to beautiful Esmee. She slept through most of the celebrations. Thank you GK and G for the bottle of Tattinger!

I love that the radiators are decorated with tiny babygrows....my extra!

Delighted that the journey home was a great deal better and with the heated seats and warm car it was hard to believe it was minus 3 degrees outside.
