Home sweet home

I saw this little donkey on my way back to ACE after spending the afternoon doing a survey of lameness in caleche horses in the centre of Luxor with Kim, ACE's manager.

He looks a bit sad, but he's actually quite well looked after, and unlikely though it seems a garage is quite a good place for him to live- if he was tethered by the roadside he'd be much more likely to get injured by a car, for example.
