Spot the Bird
It had snowed overnight but there were only a few millimetres and by lunchtime much of it had gone; there were also a few drops of rain. Not sure whether there will be more later or tomorrow. Dougal and Florence have been outside, although Florence did not venture into the snow. Dougal decided to test the snow, but was soon back indoors, shaking the snow of his paws.
Today’s picture is of a Magpie raiding the squirrel box of its nuts. It has four in its mouth and all of the nuts have disappeared. I think the Squirrels are justified in eating the bird food on the bird table.
It was only two degrees Celsius at noon, but as it snowed I shall knit a sparkly white row.
