On a cold and frosty morning

Minus 4 overnight. No snow though, unlike ke most of the rest of the country. Took ages to de- ice the car. Finally delivered the decision re the HR case. The appellant was very pleased and grateful- managers less so! Very full, slightly slow and very cold (fortunately only for the last 30 mins or so) train journey to Edinburgh. Chickened out and got a taxi when I arrived. Lovely toasty flat and cup of tea waiting though!
