From The Eagle's Nest

Another gorgeous Springday here on Crete; sunshine and lovely temps just under 20C... unheard of at this time of the year. On my request we got into the hills just behind Chania again and starting our uphill drive after Armenoi and Neo Chorio we followed the road signs for Samonas and then at one bend it wasn't clear what direction to take; left or right.... we took left and followed the winding road uphill leading up to Tsakistra and Kampoi ~  sheep and goats roamed along the road here and there and the S bends were countless and steep... I loved driving there, no bother it was the long way to Samonas where's the restaurant with the special name " Adler's Nest" ~  Eagle's Nest. The view from this restaurant is breathtaking all 360 degrees! 

I like this blip of Sweetheart reading the daily for a moment after our dinner at the lovely restaurant " Eagle's Nest" and seeing the family with the 2 boys in their company, I could not help but thinking of the future when my grandson will be of that age and we'd sit here then...
