Nefeles / clouds

Another day at Omalos highplain in West Crete and this time coz Sweetheart and his friends from their kind of Rotary Club had decided to spend their first gathering together this year up there in one of the few restaurants around. Another bright sunny day, without wind even up here during our stay. When leaving the plain from the West side we suddenly met clouds rolling across the steep slopes and the road we drove... quite  dramatic views we got from that. 

In the extra's a picture from the little walk I took up the slope towards Gingolos, no I did not get very far this time. And a view onto the entrance of the Samaria Gorge; a Summer's walk for many tourists ~  Sweetheart's friends told me that the local newspaper had published my picture of the lonesome cyclist from Belgium at Omalos as " the photograph of the day" ... lovely they present it as such :)
