Colle de Santa Lucia

A short entry for a long day. Up at 4.30, take off 7.45, arrived in Venice at 10.45. Departed for the Dolomites at 12.40 arriving at Badia (Pedraces) at 5.15pm.

From the lowlands of Venice to the high peaks at over 5000 feet. Fascinating coach journey along roads only recently cleared of heavy snow over the past few days.
