Day 2 Arrival

From sunrise in the plane, some stunning cloud views, the coastline of India, my view from my room to sunset over the beach. Day one.
It's lovely to be back and welcomed by fellow hotel guests and staff of the little hotel where I will be for the next few days before heading inland.
I had great travel and I managed not only to be first in the queue for immigration, thanks to my upgrade, but also my case came first off the luggage carousel. I was in my hotel and into the pool within an hour of the plane touching down. It's hot and wonderful and my India.
Managed 13,000 steps ok, tomorrow I'm off to Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) town in the morning before it gets too hot, for some retail therapy! I'll probably make it into the pool and the sea a couple of times too. Tough but somebody has to do it.
