Keeping Out of the Heat

Sure has been a really hot day again with around 32c. I arrived back from Akaroa early last evening. After all the gardening I had done I was worn out when I arrived home. I do feel much better today.. apart from the heat!


As you can see in this shot John cut all the Hosta flowers off while I was away. They still had some buds on them. You may remember me saying just before I went away he wanted to cut them off and I said not yet. The Begonias and doing well and enjoying the heat. At least he didn't cut them off!
