Pipes and polyps

I had an gastroscopy today at Hexham. I've been on their waiting list since September. I've been on the Carlisle list since August (and still heard nothing).

All went to plan, they've discovered I have oesophagitis (inflammation of the oesophagus caused by excessive acid), and a bunch of polyps, caused by long term use of acid reducing tablets (lansoprazole in my case). Biopsies were sliced off and I was allowed home quite soon afterwards.
I'll get the results in 3 weeks but am not worried about the findings, I'm just glad it's over and done with.

I was going to put up a shot of one of the polyps, but thought these snowdrops in the car park would be kinder!
