I paid Mum and Dad a visit today because Dad had baked some sultana and cranberry muffins, which were delicious (I had two, just to be sure). Dad tried to lure the rooks down to the garden wall with an assortment of food but they didn't put in an appearance while I was there. They probably came after I left, as they often do (or they were  the ones I saw on the village green when I got back home...). There were various other birds around, though, including gulls, blackbirds, blue tits and jackdaws.
