Freezing....

It was very cold today (for here) and the sugar water in the hummingbird feeder was pretty frozen. Fortunately the water was leaking into the bottom where the birds to get to it. I brought it into the house to warm it up a bit too. 

The two of them were chasing each other off the feeder on and off all day (fortunately, the sun was out most of the day). Finally, I got a picture of the female sitting there - she just stayed very still for quite awhile. I think she was just so darn cold! They are survivors extraordinaire.
