Rondavel

This weeks Wide Wednesday theme is on the theme of 'tradition' and being in South Africa I sought out a Rondavel, a traditional round house of the Zulu tribes. I found one in the Onyazini area a good half hour drive into the mountains from Durban

Rondavel is built round so that spirits cannot lurk in the corners of the house. The link gives an insight to them.

Mid afternoon onwards has been spent on our apartment veranda listening to the sound of the sea and enjoying the sunshine. We've decided to eat in again tonight.
