Grass seed head (in IR)

I took the new camera out stalking flowers (in IR) today. There isn't much out except for last year's leaves and stems. I found this out in a nearby lot, I think this is a stunted version of the much larger versions seen around town.

This was taken in IR and a cleaned up a little in photoshop - mainly some sharpening and the use of silver efex pro to change the red scale to gray scale.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, the white Helen cat on my lap, that I am lucky enough to have the means to afford more than 1 camera, and the incredible beauty and structure of grass seed heads.
