Platypus Hunt at the Botanics.....

Our last day in Mackay, we got up at 6 this morning and headed down to the Botanics in the hope of seeing a platypus...... I can now confirm that they do exsit as I managed to catch a brief glimpse of ones rear end as it swam back under the water....

The picture for today was a hard choice , between this one and sunrise at Far Beach ( which you can see here)
but seeing as how I've posted pics of there a few times already I thought i should use something different.

The picture I posted was where we were sitting this morning looking for the playtpus..... he was just too shy for a photograh !

So its an early night tonight & we hope to have the car all packed tonight inorder to get an early start tomorrow.

I plan on added to the picasa albums every time i can't make my mind up which image to use......
