Late Afternoon

Had a bust morning with Christmas cards, I think this task is now largely completed. Later in the afternoon I thought I might go to a pub for a quiet pint. Instead the pub was quite busy and quite noisy, think there was football on screens around the pub. I decided to give the pub a miss.

It was very dark and overcast, not only for the time of day but because of the cloud. I was taken by the idea of trying to get a photo of the street decoration, a shooting star with the Queen's Cross church. Unfortunately this also meant I picked up the lamp post supporting the star. I suppose I could have got rid of the lamp post in Photoshop, but I have left it in.
