Looking South, Bergstraße

A familiar sight on our daily dog rounds: the second peak from the left is Frankenstein with its ruined castle; in the middle Melibocus hill, highest elevation of Odenwald; in the right centre the southern quarters of Eberstadt are illuminated by the morning sun. Behind them the Rhine valley plains, where Mannheim can be spotted on clear days.
