Starling

I heard a male chaffinch singing its spring and summer song for the first time this year and greenfinches were wheezing in the ash tree. Reynard stared out at me from number thirteen disused glasshouse. Nine Canada geese have appeared on our neighbour's lake.

Ollie dog and I had a lovely water meadow walk. As usual we stopped at a feeding station which has been set up near the towpath. Nice to see starlings, we don't get them at home these days.
