Time for a break

Phil and Ailine got up early today to go to work so we had coffee with them. They are so nice, showed us where the key lock box
was and said to just take our time getting ready to leave.  So we cleaned the house, washed the towels and bed linens we used. While the washer and dryer were going we went out to breakfast at a restaurant Phil had told us about and then took a walk around the block.   Wilmington has so many historic homes.   I actually saw a plaque on an old grocery store building that had an owner named Edward Malpass.  Malpass is my maiden name so this person is probably a very distance relative. Research to do!  

We saw this woman having a smoke outside the door of a small theater so we walked over to talk with her since she saw me taking photos. She let me take a photo of her hands but not her face.  

Then it started to rain so our waking was cut short.  We loaded up,locked the house and headed south.  We did stop at a huge gift shop but did not buy and then had a late lunch.  

Driving home will take about 3 hours which means we won’t get back until around 8pm.  

I might sleep a little later tomorrow morning.
